“Yashomati Maiyya ke Nandlala” is a show about the supreme God realizing the need to experience mother’s love above everything else.
Parampita Vishnu is approached by the Gods requesting him to take an avatar and relieve Bhoodevi and other Gods of the cruelty bestowed upon them by a malicious king Kans.
Parampita is also aware of his promise of becoming a child to two mothers,Devki and Yashoda, at the same time. It’s anassurance little too complex to fulfil but the supreme God finds a way out and decides to take the poornaavtaar as Shri Krishna. He will be given birth by one mother and fostered by another, allowing him to experience his connectionwith mother whose love seems to have no boundaries whatsoever.
The main reasons for this avatar include fulfilling his promise to the two mothers and establishing Dharma on Prithvi through killing Kans, but the most important reason remains supreme God’s own realization– his unprecedented need to experience the divine relationship between a son & his mother, and live it to the fullest.
Kans oppresses Shri Krishna’s birth parents to a great degree and sends a number of Rakshasas to the village of his foster parents in order to kill the infant avatar, but Shri Krishna kills all the rakshasas with much ease. What’s tough for him though is to go through his foster mother’s immesuarble love, while protecting her from the knowledge of him being a divine one, so that her motherly love doesn’t end up converting into reverence for the supreme God.
With occasional help of his sister Yogmaya, Shri Krishna does his best to achieve desired objective. In the process, this show becomes an extremely interesting tale of a simple and yet tough – artistry of a life, exhibited through innumerableleelaas and lived by one & only – “Yashomati Maiyya ke Nandlala”.
